Hot Spring 71827 | 65 sq ft Spa Filter Cartridge

The Hot Spring 71827 filter cartridge is a factory-original replacement delivering 65 square feet of filtration across 234 pleats. That combination gives you more efficient filtration and better water clarity — so you spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying your hot tub.

The filter is what stands between your water and everything bathers bring into it. Body oils, lotions, hair, and fine debris all have to come out, or they cloud the water, feed bacteria, and coat your plumbing. When a cartridge is worn out or clogged, the consequences ripple outward: dull water, higher chemical use, weaker jets, and a pump and heater working harder against restricted flow.

Hot Spring spas are built around a "hydraulically balanced" design — roughly one square foot of filter fabric for every gallon per minute flowing through the system — and they filter 100% of the water, 100% of the time. That's exactly why a factory-spec cartridge matters here: the right filtration area and the right flow characteristics are what keep your filtering efficient, your jet pressure right, and your pump happy.
