Hot Spring Limelight 78161 | 50 sq ft Spa Filter

The Hot Spring Limelight 78161 filter cartridge is a factory-original replacement for 2018 and newer Hot Spring Limelight spas. With 50 square feet of filtration area packed into 260 pleats, it delivers more efficient filtration and noticeably better water clarity — so you spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying your hot tub.

Your filter does the invisible work that keeps a spa pleasant. Every soak leaves behind body oils, lotions, hair, and fine debris, and the filter is what pulls all of it out before it clouds the water, feeds bacteria, or coats your plumbing. When a filter is worn out or clogged, the effects show up everywhere else: dull water, more chemical use, weaker jet performance, and a pump and heater straining against restricted flow.

What sets this cartridge apart is the pleat count and the media. Those 260 pleats create far more filtering surface than a coarse, low-pleat cartridge, and Watkins uses a polyester media engineered to move more gallons per minute through every square foot of fabric. The result is a filter that captures more while still delivering the flow your Limelight's jets are designed around.
